Welcome back to Curated by Mariam!
I’ve been on hiatus enjoying a summer vacation and then struggling through getting Covid for the very first time! Luckily I’m back up and running and have had lots of time scrolling for my favorite finds for Fall.
So, look forward to lots of interesting content over the next few weeks.
Today we’re talking new handbags, my forever weakness. Here are my picks for minimal, timeless, practical bags that you won’t see on every shoulder or street corner.
Why I love them
Rich colors
Beautiful suede and buttery leather fabric
Unique shapes
Minimal logos
I’d happily buy (or receive as a gift, hint hint) any one of these, it’s hard to choose!
Savette Symmetry bag
Savette is a brand I’ve admired for a while and hope to add to my collection soon. This bag is handmade in Italy and is designed to fit the essentials, phone, wallet, keys.
Jill Sander Giro bag
Jill Sander may be one of the original minimal brands, known for high quality, unique designs. This eponymous fashion house is still releasing must-have styles.
The handles can be adjusted to wear crossbody, on your shoulder, or handheld. I’d take this as my only bag on every vacation.
3. Toteme clutch bag
Toteme is a Swedish brand known for it’s meticulous craftsmanship, sustainability, and timeless style.
I’m obsessed with the simplicity, versatility, and soft, pebbled leather. You can wear this style as a clutch or on your shoulder with the strap. These days, with prices soaring, I think it’s a steal at $960.4. Aesther Ekme Demi Lune Bag
This Parisian-Danish bag will have you drooling over every piece if you love a structural leather handbag. It was hard to choose just one, but I love the slouchy ease of this style.
You can use it for work, errands, or a day out with friends or kids. I love the fig color for Fall.
5. Little Lifner slanted shoulder bag
This one is currently on sale so snap it up if you’re after a suede handbag—which is Fall’s most sought after texture. It’s an updated version of the deliciously soft suede bags of the 1970’s with an updated shape.
A real steal on sale at under $300!
